Coordinate, organize, and respond to Client needs as well as promote, market, sell and retain various Hometown Health Self-Funded products and services utilizing Customer Services skills, to brokers, consultants, trusts and employer groups with a primary focus on client relationship and product development for Third-Party Administration (TPA) and Self-Funded products and services. This position is challenged to keep the Leadership Team of Self-Funded and other appropriate management staff informed of opinions, viewpoints, and perceptions of Hometown Health and/or Self-Funded clients with the Self-Funded Department and other operational areas. This information will be used in operational effectiveness improvement opportunities, policy/procedure formulation, benefit plan design and marketing efforts. The incumbent must be knowledgeable of benefit structures for all product lines, which include, but not limited to fully-insured HMO, PPO, Self-Funded EPO, PPO, Part D, Medicare Advantage, vision and dental plans.
Nature and Scope
Coordinate, organize, and respond to Client needs as well as promote, market and sell Hometown Health and/or Self-Funded products and services as set forth by Senior Leadership in FY Accountabilities and Initiatives. Responsible for providing reporting to Senior Leadership and other appropriate areas. Reporting scope may include dashboard, pipeline, prospects, performance, etc. Reports should provide clear picture of current market trends, client performance and assess needs of the Self-Funded Department and other operational areas impacted by Self-Funded Client expectations. Ensure all policy and procedures are appropriate to nature of work in order to meet goals. The position requires strong managerial skills, and a deep commitment to client satisfaction and experience in driving process improvements to exceed client expectations. Minimum Qualifications Requirements – Required and/or Preferred
Name Description Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (can substitute 4 years of related experience). Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of health insurance experience in Self-Funded or Commercial related account management position or related health insurance position required. Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Health Insurance agent license within 90 days of hire. License(s): Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada driver’s license within 30 days of hire. Certification(s): None Computer / Typing: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
