Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network, is hiring Vascular Surgeons. Join our growing Renown Medical Group Department of Surgery practicing in the regions busiest and established full-service Heart and Vascular Institute and the only Level II Trauma Center serving a catchment area of over 900,000.
The successful candidate will be a BE/BC Surgeon with fellowship training in Vascular Surgery.
The Vascular Surgeon will provide services for patients in the community, work to elevate our established Acute Care Vascular Surgery program, develop new programs, as well as evaluate new inpatient and outpatient. The candidate will also help develop the Outpatient Clinic seeing both pre- and post-op consults. The Vascular Surgery team Collaborate closely with the Renown Medical Group. Cardiology, Cardio-thoracic Surgery teams, Trauma, and Oncologic Surgical teams. The candidate will need to be comfortable in the management of complex open vascular surgery and endovascular skills are a must.
The provider is expected to teach Residents and Medical Students as part of Community Faculty for University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Renown Regional is a state-of-the-art, 800 bed acute care facility with comprehensive and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care.
