Communicating information about environment activities (refreshes, maintenance windows, upgrades, patches) and enforcing proper environment use for build, testing, and training to project team and end users.
Coordinate effective communication between application and technical teams as well as Epic Technical Services.
Communicates the Epic environment strategy and participates in Workgroups.
Establishing a sign-off process for Release Authorizations (RAs) from Epic.
Participating in or leading change control, upgrade planning, maintenance window planning, and go-live planning committees.
Coordinating and managing the Epic upgrade and migration activities of the application and technical team leads.
Plans and coordinates EPIC environment downtimes and downtime communication.
Plans and manages scheduled events such as 3rd party data loads and batch jobs.
Developing new or enhancing existing change control and quality assurance processes to include Epic components and build.
Developing, and managing the Epic environment strategy, including data migration methods and schedules.
Designing data migration strategies and managing large data loads.
Creating and maintaining documentation for use in infrastructure configuration, maintenance, and upgrade planning.
Tracking update and patch levels for each production and non-production environment and servers.
Identifies and reports problems/issues with EPIC environment maintenance, content or usage; conducts impact analysis and/or root cause analysis and provides a synopsis of the issue including potential solutions and risks to leadership.
Enforce and adhere to strict enterprise change control (CAB) policies and procedures as well as ensure migration/validation processes are followed.
