Position Overview

Position Purpose:
Under the direction of Marketing Leadership, this position oversees content across all organizational web and mobile sites to ensure accurate, relevant, current and visually engaging content. The role manages website look and feel, from brand standards and general website style treatments to compelling copy and imagery. The role works closely with internal and external staff and resources to support marketing, communications, public relations, interactive media and web initiatives.
Nature and Scope:
The responsibilities of the incumbent include: Plans, coordinates and prepares engaging and creative content, edits and revises copy, obtains subject matter expert approvals and maintains content accuracy. Ensures consistency of tone, language and brand. Supports content for the organization’s websites, social media channels and official publications. Works with web team to manage brand standards and website style treatments to create a visually rich, interactive user experience. Works closely with marketing, communications, customer experience, social media and web teams to maintain content integrity standards, including managing the process for regularly reviewing and updating content, general Q/A to correct errors, inconsistencies, etc. Implements best practices for content information architecture and drives user behavior through content placement. Develops and implements strategies to improve and maintain search engine rankings for keywords including SEO-friendly copy and linking practices. Produces regular reports to show progress toward goals and evolve strategies. Conducts ongoing user feedback analysis – focus groups, usability testing, online experience surveys, etc. Keeps the team abreast of competitor activity, developments and market trends and makes recommendations for further development of content. Ensures e-blasts, newsletters & E-newsletters are effectively and efficiently communicating with various internal and external audiences. Collaborates with external agencies and vendors as necessary. • Participates in on-call rotation. This position does not provide patient care.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements – Required and/or Preferred
Education:	BachelorÆs degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or similar field. Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English fluently. Proven experience in a related position may be substituted for degree.
Experience:	Five years professional experience in online copy writing, maintaining web, mobile or social media content, marketing project management or similar responsibilities. Most importantly, strong writing and editorial skills including experience of writing copy for a live web environment. Expertise in visual storytelling and communication. Verbal communication and strong project management skills. Photo and video editing. Experienced with content management systems and common web analytic platforms preferred. Proficiency with web and social media programs for business strategies including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs, Flickr, You Tube, Pinterest, HootSuite, Sprout Social, Pinpuff, etc. Digital agency or corporate communications experience helpful.

Computer / Typing:	Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
