Position Purpose This position provides direct patient care in all areas of Renown Health as needed. This person provides input to the interdisciplinary team regarding ongoing patient care as well as comprehensive discharge planning. Nature and Scope The incumbent must provide optimal patient care in multiple venues through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families. This position conducts evaluations, develops appropriate plans of care, and provides rehab services through time of discharge from the facility. This position is responsible for the direct clinical supervision of staff physical therapist assistants and rehab technicians.
This position will be required to provide services at all rehabilitation areas as needed and as determined by the Rehabilitation Leadership Team. This position will be required to work variable work-shifts, including a minimum of 2 weekend days per month and one holiday shift, with appropriate notice from the hiring manager.
At times, this position may be asked to participate in program development and outcome measurements in the clinical setting.

Requirements – Required and/or Preferred Name Description Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Experience: Minimum two years of experience in either Inpatient or Outpatient rehabilitation Environment preferred. A minimum of one clinical rotation in a medial setting if having recently graduated. License(s): Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Physical Therapy license.

Certification(s): BLS/CPR certification per AHA standards required. APTA Geriatric Certified Specialty certification preferred.
