About the Renown Health Graduate Nurse Residency Program
Our Residency Program for GNs is designed to engage new nurses through classroom learning, a formal preceptorship, and hands-on patient care experiences. Curriculum focuses on developing your critical thinking, decision making, communication, conflict resolution, interprofessional collaboration, and leadership skills. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of today’s healthcare industry.
I love who I work with and the environment here. There is always something new no matter what floor you’re on.
– Dakota Martinez, GN Summer 2021
All acute and progressive care units accept new grads every cohort. Placement into critical care and specialty units is based on preceptor availability and your previous clinical experience (CNA, LPN, EMT, etc.).
A lot of knowledge goes into nursing so I enjoy incorporating that into caring for people and I could tell that our staff truly cared about the patients and there was an amazing team dynamic.
