Auxiliary Offers Scholarships for Those Who Want to Become Nurses

As the communities that we serve increase in size, so does the need for excellent, compassionate healthcare. If you or a fellow employee has considered becoming a registered nurse, this may be an ideal time to take the educational plunge.

Renown Health Auxiliary wants to make a decision like that easier. The group has announced that eight $2,500 scholarships toward becoming an RN are now open for applications. These scholarships are for employees at Renown who have worked here for at least one year, among other qualifications.

The Auxiliary is a group of dedicated volunteers who raise funds to underwrite essential programs and needed equipment at Renown Health. It has been in the area since 1950 and has been offering nursing scholarships since the 1960s.

To apply and get more details, go to the auxiliary scholarship site on renown.org. The deadline for applications is Friday, June 29.
