Employee Volunteers Work in the Community this Winter

January 30, 2018

As part of their work in the community, members of the Renown Employee Volunteer Committee have been hands-on when it comes to helping others. For instance, members of the committee worked with the Reno Rodeo recently to build comfort kits for youth in the community.

After the committee assembled the kits, they were given by the Rodeo to children that are displaced from their homes. The kits included personal hygiene basics, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

The employee volunteers also worked with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful for the group’s Christmas tree recycling efforts.
