Amazon’s Reno Center Donates $10,000 to Renown Children’s Hospital

December 23, 2017

Recently, associates from Amazon’s Reno fulfillment center donated $10,000 to Renown Children’s Hospital to help fight childhood cancer as part of the Amazon Goes Gold campaign. The donation, made on behalf of a Nevada patient, will be directed to children’s cancer care.

During Amazon Goes Gold, 10 million boxes were delivered featuring gold ribbons – the international symbol of childhood cancer – empowering customers to join in the fight one box at a time. To commemorate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Amazon teamed up with the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) to raise national awareness of children’s cancer.
